The Vego
Burger
Makes approx.
12 patties
Ingredients
--1 cup cooked lentils
--1 egg
--3 cloves garlic, crushed
--½ red chilli, finely sliced
--2 tbsp. parsley, chopped
--1 tbsp. tamari
--1 dozen chive stalks, finely
chopped
--1 tsp. sea salt
--1 tsp. pepper
Directions
-- Mix all ingredients together into a
bowl, and then refrigerate for at
least two hours.
-- Preheat oven to 180°C and line a
baking tray with baking paper.
-- Roll the lentil mixture into small
balls with your hands, place onto
the baking tray and flatten slightly.
-- Bake in the preheated oven for
approximately 15-20 minutes.
-- Place on a sourdough bun along
with grated beetroot, grilled
mushrooms, spinach, and fresh
tomato salsa!
