How "running" to the beauty supply store RUNS DOWN our community (part 1)
State of the Union:
I went to the beauty supply store a few weeks ago to pick up some earrings. At the first light I opened up the package and unclipped the back post. As I pulled it off the stem of the earring fell off making the earring impossible to wear. I could have turned around and went back but I was 10 minutes away from work and I had a client in 10 minutes. I decided to be on time and headed to work.
Almost two weeks later I finally had time to go back. I had the original packaging and receipt. Any other store that would have been fine, but in a Korean Beauty Supply you can add a drop of blood and a curse out and that is still not enough.
Our Black dollar is not respected. We continually purchase from them instead of our stylist. This has to stop! The incident reminded me of a documentary my niece sent to me a few years ago about how the beauty supply store affects our community.
