As the new head office for Rand Mutual Assurance , being an existing structure held various limitations and constraints such as electrical supply , plant room area , structural penetration , and shafts , as well as the co-ordination with existing services with the entirely new HVAC system .

THE BANKS INSTALLS ‘ FIRST IN AFRICA ’ HVAC SYSTEM
Aptly named due to its prior function , this project is the product of an entire redevelopment of an old banking building that went through some substantial design changed mid construction and is home to the continents first chilled / hot water hybrid variable refrigerant flow system installed on the hotel floors .
