Heritage High School GCSE Art students have been investigating the
theme of close up for their first unit of work. They have also been
learning how to make lino prints and how to develop how these
images look by using coloured ink, blending colours and using
collaged paper. Here are some of their experiments.
Sports Report

On Wednesday, 8th October we held an Inclusion
Games Festival at Heritage High School. One
hundred and sixty three Year 1 and Year 2
children from the infant schools at Hodthorpe,
Clowne, Creswell, Whitwell and Barlborough
came along to Heritage and took part in 9
different games supported by 32 Heritage Sports
Leaders.
The games, which included agility, rob the ball,
line ball and a relay, took part with the
encouragement and interaction of the Heritage
Sports Leaders on the MUGA and in the Sports
Hall.
Creswell pupil Heaven said, “My favourite was
line ball and I enjoyed it”. Whereas Jack from
Hodthorpe Primary School said, “I really enjoyed
it, Basketball was the best”.
Miss Hockley, who organised the Festival,
agreed and remarked, “I am so proud of all 32
