OPTIMIZED STUDENT EXPERIENCE
Our college and our communities succeed when our students succeed. We want our students
to graduate with a strong connection to the college, less debt and the means to maintain their
health and wellness. We create Heritage College experiences that value students’ strengths,
build resilience, support lifelong learning and develop students as health care team members
and leaders for Ohio and our nation.
Goal 1: 
Expand and enhance recruitment activities and pipeline programs to attract a diverse student
body that aligns with health care needs in Ohio, ultimately increasing access for students.
Goal 2:  Create an individualized student success program that includes mentoring, advising,
professional development, financial planning and graduate medical education
counseling and placement.
Goal 3:  Develop and implement a comprehensive plan for student physical and mental health,
wellness and resilience.
Goal 4:  By 2021, expand student scholarship support by growing Heritage College
endowments to $25 million.
Goal 5:  Develop an alumni engagement and connection strategy to advance all Heritage
College priorities.
