This year has been tough. This year was pure stress. Every class managed to make me hate them, all except one. I truly believe that if you follow your passions, you will be successful, and writing is one of my own. This year, in this class, I have learned how to structure my pieces, how to engage the reader, and the most important thing of all, is to give my pieces some meaning. The feedback of my classmates and my teacher have given me a boost and have made me believe in myself. With that, I’m proud to say that my stories are original, descriptive and well structured, but I still need to focus more on my own idea of reality. Everything that surrounded me this year, helped me become a better writer. Mr. Chase and his Litmag class, my friends, my family, Guadalajara and many more. I couldn’t be more grateful for my family, to make me understand how life works, and that sometimes, we have to do things not a lot of people like so they can grow. What I’m looking forward into my future assignments is a better understanding of the topic, and more non fiction and sci-fi pieces. I wrote some of those this year, but I feel like I didn’t know what I was talking about, or that I was just lost in my own reality.
