Greenville Christian ’ s 2024 valedictorian is Rachel Isabella Pearce . A student at the school since 7th grade , she graduates with twenty-four , dual credit hours and a GPA of 101.6 Miss Pearce ’ s outstanding contributions beyond the classroom extend to the sports and leadership positions . In basketball she earned 2nd Team All district honors . This past season in volleyball she was selected 2nd Team All State , with prior recognitions of Hitter and Blocker of the Year . In track she was a State qualifier in the triple jump and 300 meter hurdles . She also placed 6th in State for her performance in the 4 x 4 relay . Additionally , she is member of the school ’ s Cheer Team , winning the 2023-2024 State Championship . For two years she was yearbook editor , and for the past three years she has worked on the Chapel Worship Team preparing and coordinating all technology used each week . Also , she was elected class representative and treasurer for Student Council ; this year she serves as vice-president . In GC ’ s National Honor Society chapter she is treasurer , along with president of the 2024 Senior Class . In 2022 she was awarded Golden Kiwanis ’ Sophomore of the Year . Miss Pierce has volunteered at WIN , Audie Murphy Cotton Museum , Texas Trash-Off , and Clean Greenville . At TAMU-Commerce , Dept . of Education , she assisted with projects , as well as distributing student resource information at homecoming . Next fall Miss Pearce will begin studying engineering at Hendrix College in Conway , Arkansas , with plans to matriculate to Vanderbilt or Washington University in St . Louis , Missouri . She is the daughter of Nicole and David Pearce of Greenville .

Greenville Christian ’ s salutatorian is Haley Marie Johnson . A part of the student body since 6th grade , she graduates with eighteen dual credit hours and a GPA of 101.1 . Beginning in the 7th grade , Miss Johnson began showcasing her strengths on the stage and has been cast in ten , Greenville Christian theater productions , with her most recent Into the Woods . In all , she has performed in thirty , community theater productions in the surrounding communities . In Greenville she is associated with Greenville Family Theater ; she was stage manager for Mary Poppins , Music Man , and Anastasia ; co-directed Frozen ; and last fall directed Secret Garden . At Greenville Christian , she formed and conducts a middle-school , theater program that meets after school . Then , she directs this group in its annual production . Miss Johnson also organized and leads the same type of program for students associated with Greenville Family Theater . Additionally , she has been a member of the school ’ s Chapel Worship Team since 9th grade , elected Student Council president , as well as National Honor Society secretary . Rotary Club selected her to attend RYLA , a youth , leadership camp . Miss Johnson ’ s volunteer work includes FISH Ministries , Good News Clubs , Trevor Daniel Foundation , and Tools for School . She has been accepted into the Honor ’ s Program at Abilene Christian University and will double major in Musical Theater and business , with a long-term goal to one day operate her own theater . She is the daughter of Kristyl and Garrett Johnson of Quinlan and the granddaughter of Bryan Beckner of Greenville .
