WOLFE CITY HIGH SCHOOL VALEDICTORIAN | MOLLY CALDWELL
Molly Caldwell has been named the Valedictorian of Wolfe City High School ’ s Class of 2021 .
She is the daughter of Jake and Jennifer Caldwell .
In her four years at Wolfe City High School , Molly has been involved in numerous academic and extracurricular activities . She is a long standing member of Student Council , a member and current officer in the Beta Club , a former participant in One Act Plan and a participant in several UIL academic competitions .
Molly received 1st place at the 2020 Texas State Beta Convention in Creative Writing and placed 8th for Creative Writing in the 2020 National Beta Convention . In One Act Play , she played an active role in securing 1st place at district and bi-district competition as well as receiving the Best Actress Award . Miss Caldwell also advanced to UIL Regionals in Feature Writing , Literary Criticism , and Current Events . Molly is also an active member of the Wolfe City First Baptist Youth Group outside of her school day .
Molly plans to attend Texas A & M University at Commerce to pursue a degree in history with future plans of earning a graduate degree and teaching at the college level .
Molly has received a full scholarship , through the Texas A & M University at Commerce Honors College Program valued at $ 72,000 . She has also received the Janice King Family Scholarship , valued at $ 1,000.00 and the TAMU-Commerce Presidential Scholarship for $ 16,000 .
WOLFE CITY HIGH SCHOOL SALUTATORIAN | LOGAN LANKFORD
Logan Lankford has been named the Salutatorian of the 2021 Wolfe City High School class .
He is the son of Blake and Jackie Lankford .
Logan has been an active member and participant of Wolfe City High School ’ s FFA chapter . His accomplishments include FFA Chapter and District President , Senior Class Vice President , Student Council Vice President , and First Team All-District Linebacker .
Outside of the school day , Logan is an active member of the First Baptist Church in Wolfe City , a volunteer for Flags Across America , and an avid outdoorsman and competitive shooter .
Mr . Lankford plans to attend Texas A & M University at College Station where he will major in agricultural leadership and development . Logan has also accepted a position to be a member of the ROTC program and has received a full scholarship .
