QUINLAN HIGH SCHOOL VALEDICTORIAN | KADEN MOSS

Quinlan ISD is extremely honored to announce the 2021 Valedictorian of Quinlan Ford High School , Kaden Moss . He is the son of Aaron and Chauntae Russell and has three siblings , Logan , Joshua , and Nathan . Kaden began his school career in Quinlan ISD in kindergarten .

Kaden Moss ’ s well-rounded interests outside of academic excellence include theater , music , and dance . He danced competitively for several years . During high school , he made the Symphonic All-Region ( top band ) all four years , qualified for Area audition his sophomore , junior , and senior year , and achieved ATSSB Symphonic All-State band sophomore year . He earned the coveted Drum Major position for the FHS marching band junior and senior years . Kaden Moss qualified for the State Solo and Ensemble competitions every year . He has been awarded the John Philip Sousa award sophomore year and senior year for his outstanding musical accomplishment and the Patrick S . Gilmore Award for outstanding leadership skills devoted to the band .

Proudly , Kaden Moss has earned an associate ’ s degree from Paris Junior College while in high school at no cost to his family through QISD . He is planning to attend Texas A & M at Commerce to complete a bachelor ’ s degree in instrumental music , and then a master ’ s degree in clarinet performance . A & M at Commerce has accepted Kaden Moss into the Honors College with 100 % of his college paid . He has also received several other scholarships including the $ 16,000 Presidential Scholarship for four years from A & M Commerce .

QUINLAN HIGH SCHOOL SALUTATORIAN | MOLLY LANE

Quinlan ISD is privileged to announce the 2021 Salutatorian of Quinlan Ford High School is Molly Beth Lane . She is the daughter of Kelly and Shannon Lane and has one sister , Kaila Lane . Molly has attended Quinlan ISD since kindergarten .

Molly Lane ’ s strong passion for the arts includes choir , band , and theater where she has been involved for most of the middle school and all of her high school years . Her rendition of the National Anthem at football games many times sent shock waves to fans on both sides of the field . During high school , Molly Lane gracefully served as the Band Drum Major and Vice President of the FHS choir where her talents crossed with theater performing in multiple productions .

Proudly , Molly Lane has earned an associate ’ s degree from Paris Junior College while in high school at no cost to her family through QISD . She is planning to attend Texas A & M at Commerce to complete a bachelor ’ s degree in business analytics . She will be a member of the college choir where she has been awarded a $ 9,000 choral music scholarship . Also , she is accepted into the Honors College with 50 % of her college paid . She has also received several other scholarships including the $ 16,000 Presidential Scholarship for four years from A & M Commerce .
