Last year he threw for 3,407 yards and 37 touchdowns, while adding 740 yards and seven touchdowns on the ground, earning District 9-3A Division I Offensive MVP Honors.
In three seasons he has accumulated more than 8,000 yards and 67 passing touchdowns with 1,521 rushing yards and 20 rushing touchdowns.

The team had a good first season showing at their first scrimmage, against White Oak, under the direction of the school’ s new coach Randy Pippin.
Kavian said the team is adjusting to a new coaching regime and roster.
Pippin said he looks to get the Panthers back into the double digit win column after a season which ended at 9-3. The Panthers lost in the second round of the playoffs, 48-28, to preseason No. 1 ranked Columbus. The final score was 48-28. Kavian signed with the Texas Tech Red Raiders in November 2025. Kavian is the son of Westwood Athletic Director and boys basketball coach Kadrian Bryant and his wife, Tina. He is the oldest of three boys, who all excel in football and basketball.
When the time came for Bryant to pick between the University of Texas, University of Colorado, Southern Methodist University, Florida State University and Texas Tech, he said it was an obvious choice.
“ The coaches showed me love and I felt that was the best home for me. I wanted to find a way to win a national championship,” Bryant said.“ It is truly a blessing and I have to thank my dad. I have to continue to work and be the best quarterback I can be.”
Bryant said one of the most important things for him is to make sure he keeps his grades up so he can perform on the football field and the basketball court.
“ Grades come first and you have to pass to play,” Bryant said.“ We take that very seriously in our house and I will continue doing what I do.”
