This super easy, super delicious treat is great for any occassion - but it's especially sweet to celebrate our first birthday! Bake the cake and Instagram your creation with #HCBirthday for a chance to win a t-shirt!
INGREDIENTS
1 box Super Moist Yellow Cake Mix from Betty Crocker
1 can Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting from Betty Crocker
Candy of choice (we used M&M's)
DIRECTIONS
- Prepare the cake mix as per the directions on the box (make two separate cakes)
- Place the bottom of one of the cakes on a cake stand. Carefully cut off the top of the cake so you have a flat surface.
- Hollow out the inside of the cake (leaving 3 inches on the sides). Fill the inside of the cake with a candy of your choice. Carefully frost the cake part of this layer.
- Place second layer CUT SIDE DOWN onto the candy and frosting. Frost entire outside of cake.
