Every year, on March 17, St.
Patrick’s Day is celebrated to
honor St. Patrick, a seventeenth century Irish missionary. On this day, millions of people around the world don their green clothes, accessorize with clovers, and eat Irish-inspired meals. Like with any holiday,
various countries put their own unique twist on St. Patrick’s Day, but continue to encompass the same ideas.
