EP: First and foremost, we want to make sure the oil that we sell is the best for our customers. As such, we have partnered with top equipment manufacturers to achieve highly efficient and quality extraction. Through supercritical CO2 extraction methods, we are able to create cannabis extracts that are pure and free of THC; we are able to get our distillate to less than 0.3% THC, or even non- detectable levels in order to meet product requirements.

HCI: Do you extract any of the THC? Some scientists think CBD is more effective with the combination of THC.

EP: Although research has demonstrated that for many ailments a combination of CBD and THC is more effective than either one in isolation, known as the "entourage effect," we do not extract any THC at this time.
HCI: Why did you strategically choose California and Oregon for your extraction facilities and Nevada for your manufacturing facility?

EP: The choice to base our extraction facilities in Oregon and California was easy; we were already established and owned land in these areas. In addition to this, we already owned an existing compounding pharmacy in Nevada.
