When you have tried the other options listed above and nothing seems to offer
permanent relief; or your hemorrhoids become too big, your doctor may
recommend a Hemorrhoidectomy. Used in only the severest hemorrhoid cases,
this surgical procedure does have a long recovery period and can be painful.
However, it is usually successful.
Stapling is another surgical option, but it is fairly new and does not usually
resolve the problem permanently.
Finally, clot removal may be recommended to repair thrombosed hemorrhoids.
During this procedure, a small incision will be made so the surgeon can remove
the clot and then stitch the incision back together.

heart. There are plenty of medicinal options that can be used to treat your
hemorrhoids and their painful symptoms. The trick is finding the one that works
for you.
