NEW LAW PROTECTS PEOPLE BORN IN MONACO AS “ CHILDREN OF THE NATION ”
« Дети нации », новый статус в Монако
In the beginning of July the National Council passed a law which gives proper status to people who were born and have resided in Monaco for at least forty years . Twenty elected officials ( out of twenty-two ) voted for Bill No . 993 , on “ recognition of the ‘ Enfants du Pays ’ ( Children of the Nation ) and their contribution to the development of the Principality ”. The Constitution once recognized only “ Monegasques ” and “ foreigners ”. Now , another category has been added in the eyes of the law , one which may help provide equal treatment , rights or advantages to those known as Enfants du Pays . Through this bill , which follows a bill passed by the National Council in 2017 , the government recognizes the contribution of the Enfants du Pays to the Principality ’ s economic prosperity as well as to its influence on the international scene . The National Council has also agreed that people born in Monaco who have resided here since birth and who have one parent or guardian who was also born and resided here will benefit from a higher rank than people born in Monaco .

В начале июля Национальный совет принял закон , наделяющих особым статусом лиц , родившихся и проживших в Монако не менее сорока лет . Двадцать депутатов из двадцати двух проголосовали за законопроект № 993 о признании « Детей нации » ( Enfants du Pays ) и их вклада в развитие Княжества . Отныне к категориям « монегаски » и « иностранцы », упомянутым в Конституции , добавляется третья категория , гарантирующая равное обращение , права или преимущества для тех , кто под нее попадает . Тем самым правительство признает вклад « Детей нации » в экономическое процветание Княжества и его влияние на международной арене . Национальный совет также согласился с тем , что лица , родившиеся в Монако , которые проживают здесь с рождения и имеют одного родителя или опекуна , которые также родились и проживали здесь не менее сорока лет , получат более высокий ранг , чем лица , просто родившиеся в Монако .
MONACO AND RUSSIA CELEBRATE 15 YEARS OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS

To mark the 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and the Principality of Monaco , Laurent Anselmi , Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation , sent a message to Sergey Lavrov , Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation , hailing the relationship based on trust and friendship that unites the two countries . Since 11 July 2006 , there has been intensive and constructive cooperation as well as numerous exchanges on economic , scientific and environmental issues , thanks to constant efforts on the part of the heads of state of the two countries . A determination to continue to bolster this cooperation has been expressed , notably through cultural diplomacy , a vector for peace and improved understanding between peoples .

По случаю 15-й годовщины установления дипломатических отношений между Российской Федерацией и Княжеством Монако Лоран Ансельми , министр иностранных дел и сотрудничества , направил министру иностранных дел Российской Федерации Сергею Лаврову послание , в котором подчеркнул , что между двумя странами сложились отношения доверия и дружбы . С 11 июля 2006 года благодаря постоянному взаимодействию глав государств обеих стран продолжается интенсивное и конструктивное сотрудничество , а также обмен опытом в экономической , научной и экологической областях . Лоран Ансельми выразил надежду на дальнейшее укрепление сотрудничества двух государств , в том числе посредством культурной дипломатии .
