You could definitely feel the Hollywood glamour , made famous in Monaco by Princess Grace and Sir Roger Moore , in the air that evening .
: Could you count on a certain number of sponsors ready to bear the costs and responsibilities for the launch of the film since it was aimed at charity ? What about the Grace Foundation ’ s contribution ?

HelloMonaco : Since you were appointed CEO have you been involved in changes or assessments to guarantee Awards in order to deal with the new demands of the future as it unfolds ?
Brisa Carleton : I entered two years ago since the Foundation decided it would like to start a legacy advancing toward a new era . This institution has been doing incredible work supporting theatre , dance and film artists for nearly forty years since its creation . It is a huge honour for me . The Princely Family and our Board of Trustees recognized that after such a long successful period they needed to look at the roots of the Foundation in order to continue to assure the mission and most importantly to encourage new generations be engaged in the cause . When the Foundation was set up Princess Grace was the most important figure , a personality in the world . After forty years , newcomers are not necessarily aware of who She was . Maybe some of them recognize Her face but they don ’ t know about how incredible is the story behind Her as well as the amazing positive impact She produced in Monaco and worldwide . So , I was brought to look at what the Foundation was doing and see how we can bridge the generational moment .
: What is the main goal that you will be working on ?
BC : Now , the main goal is to amplify the tribute to Her and it is becoming really exciting also for the Princely Family . Talking to young people and telling them who Grace Kelly was is really intriguing . It happens so often that a teenager is even more surprised and proud to use a Grace Kelly ’ s fashion item after deepening their understanding of Her wonderful personality . She still is an incredible role model to be associated with . I feel very privileged to be introducing Her to young people . All that brings an increasing interest in Her character .
: Are the Awards different from those awarded at the beginning in 1982 ?
BC : The Awards Program has remained the same for forty years , set up in an excellent way to support young artists . It was designed so well that we did not need to make changes . We have luminary judges who change every year to evaluate the award-winner selection criteria . They have been doing such an incredible work . The ones who were given the prizes had an extraordinary career like Cary Joji Fukunaga who is the director of the new James Bond movie “ No Time to Die ”. He was credited with a Princess Grace Award when he just started out . What has changed the last couple of years is expanding the legacy to further artistic levels .
: The premiere of the 007 film “ No Time to Die ” under the High Patronage of the Princess Grace Foundation-USA on 29th September 2021 was judged to be perfect ! But what amount of effort did this event involve ? Did you have to face specific difficulties due to the lockdown postponement of one year compared to the scheduled time ?
BC : We were so delighted to finally see the premiere become a reality ! After so many stops

BC : The Princess Grace Foundation hosted the evening with additional underwriting from our generous trustees Rod and Karen Gancas ( Monaco Residents ). We were also pleased to partner with the Casino de Monte-Carlo , the Palace , Aston Martin , and others to ensure a fabulous event .
: If you had to take stock in terms of charity revenues and participation of a philanthropic audience to the event , would you say it was positive ? Did it achieve the targeted goals ?
BC : The event was a huge success and all proceeds will go toward funding a new Princess Grace Award named after Sir Roger Moore . The new Sir Roger Moore Award will be given annually to an emerging filmmaker beginning in 2022 . We are so grateful to everyone who purchased tickets and supported this special and unique event .
: Could you please update us on the Awards Program for the future and the philanthropic aspects of the Grace Foundation ?
BC : We are launching two big initiatives this year . The first one is Grace Influential , purely
