DC : My younger sister was in karting and she was really good , winning the races . I always regretted that she never got the chance to become a professional racing driver .
Racing is not a purely technological sport , it ’ s a people sport .

but actually there were less accidents . This year we will have support races for Formula 1 . I think this is a brilliant opportunity for women in motorsport to have this spotlight in the world .
: Who stands out in the women ’ s races now ?
DC : There are so many potential talents from all around the world ! Our champion from the first year Jamie Chadwick ( a British racing driver currently competing in the Formula Regional European Championship and the W Series . — Ed .). Emma Kimilainen ( a racing driver from Finland . She currently competes in the W Series . — Ed .), she has a child and she is so fast . So I think she has real potential .

DC : We are here for a good time , not a long time . I think it ’ s important to see the moment , to live today .
That ’ s an opportunity for me to help women move into sport , to create a platform , to create a championship , which allows them to develop their talent . And hopefully in future someone arrives in Formula 1 .
: Is there a difference between a woman and a man driving a car ?
DC : I can see many female athletes who are much stronger than I was when I was racing . There is no reason why they cannot be strong enough .
