AMBER LOUNGE DELIVERED A FASHION SHOW WITH AN ARRAY OF ‘ MADE IN MONACO ’

The Amber Lounge Fashion Show made its return with partners Gulf Oil International and Oribe . This year ’ s event showcased a number of designers including BEACH & CASHMERE MONACO by Federica Nardoni Spinetta , INESSA CREATIONS MONACO by Inès Bensalah , LAURA SPRETI , YMAGINARIA by Sofia Alemani , PASQUINI ROMA , and JFC STYLE AUTHORITY MENSWEAR . Pauline Ducruet closed the Amber Lounge Fashion Show with her bespoke Alter collection . The prestigious event welcomed the likes of : Pauline Ducruet , Greg Maffei , Laurent Rossi Jost Capito , John Caudwell , Gareth Wittstock , Adrian Newey and Victoria Silvstedt to name a few . While George Russell , Antonio Giovanizzi , Nicolas Latifi , Jack Aitken , Stoffel Vandoorne , Nyck de Vries , Mitch Evans , Norman Nato , Nick Cassidy , and Andre Lotterer all took to the catwalk in support of Caudwell Children .
AS MONACO FINISHED IN THIRD PLACE AND ARE BACK IN THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
Despite dominating throughout , AS Monaco conceded a draw at Lens ( 0:0 ). No doubt worn down by fixture congestion , despite Krépin Diatta and Cesc Fàbregas coming on , the Monegasques had more difficulty controlling the game and were content to hold on for a draw . It was , however , a result without consequence as the Rouge et Blanc finished in third place , earning a place in the Champions League again , three years after their last season in the competition .

MONTE-CARLO INTERNATIONAL SWIMMING MEETING MADE A DIFFERENCE IN WATER SPORTS
Milestone of professional water sports , the 38th edition of the Monte-Carlo International Swimming Meeting was held on the 29th and the 30th May 2021 at the Prince Albert II Nautical Centre ( Louis II Stadium ). The best teams worldwide gathered here in the footsteps of many former champions , notably H . S . H . Princess Charlène of Monaco who was awarded the gold medal for the 200 m backstroke in 1996 . The Mare Nostrum Trophy was created in 1997 aimed at celebrating the top-five best competitors in all locations . The participation of all teams assumed a particular meaning this year after the pandemic lockdown . In the Women ’ s Category the multiaward winning Yuliya Efimova , from Russia excelled in all races and was awarded the gold medal for the 200 m Breaststroke Women and 50 m Breaststroke Women ( Speed Tournament ).
