FLAVOURS OF JAPAN : MONACO ’ S FIRST ‘ MADE IN JAPAN ’ EXPO

Made in Japan in Monaco launched its premier event at the Grimaldi Forum on December , 11 – 13 , 2020 with Japanese concerts , martial arts demonstrations , calligraphy and much more . Visitors were able to take in 10 stands which featured silk kimonos , tea , food and of course , Sake . Louis Ducruet , son of Princess Stephanie , also made a high profile VIP guest appearance at the event .

The winter thaw is upon us . With restless hearts we welcome a new spring . Although we are still in the midst of a global pandemic , hope dances on the horizon with much of the population getting vaccinated . We can finally look back on the last season with pride at all we ’ ve gone through and all we ’ ve accomplished in the face of such life-changing adversity . After accomplishing a particularly difficult feat , isn ’ t it nice to look back and say : ‘ We did it !’ As we continue to make history , let ’ s celebrate the strength and resilience Monaco has shown over the past season by looking back at our biggest and most positive headlines , achievements and events .

CHAMPION FOR PEACE 2020 REVEALED TO THE WORLD FROM MONTE-CARLO

During a virtual event from the Atrium of the Casino de Monte-Carlo , Prince Albert II opened the envelope to reveal the winner of Champion for Peace 2020 … Lionel Messi ! The star of FC Barcelona and Argentina helps 15,000 children in Mozambique start their day with a healthy breakfast . The well-deserved new champion was revealed after an introduction by Olympic medallist and Peace and Sport ambassador , Marlène Harnois .
