DAVOS
Most of us know Davos primarily as a venue for the World Economic Forum . It is the most mountainous town in Europe , situated at an altitude of 1,560 metres above sea level . Davos also seems to be quite « corona-compatible » so to speak . Because it has so many mountains to choose from , the queues are never long compared to other destinations . There is no danger of density stress down in the valley either : the side valleys are ideal for relaxed winter walks or snowshoe tours and the free network of cross-country ski trails makes Davos one of the largest cross-country skiing areas in the Alps .
