The 23rd Historic Monte-Carlo Rally

O
rganized by the Monaco Automobile Club, the Historic Monte-
Carlo Rally 2020 will include cars featured solely in the Monte-Carlo
Rally previous editions between 1911 and 1980. All the teams have
chances of finishing with quite impressive results thanks to a choice of three
average speeds to be complied to all throughout the race. This 23rd edition
starts on January 29 for the participants racing from Athens and Glasgow.
On January 31, other teams will join in from Bad-Homburg, Milan, Barcelona,
Reims and Monte-Carlo with a common destination of Buis-les-Baronniers.
That’s where the much anticipated show will start from! The Gala and the
Prize Giving will take place on the evening of February, 5 in the Salle des
Étoiles of Monte-Carlo Sporting Club.

2020 году к участию в Историческом ралли Монте-Карло, кото-
рое проводит Автомобильный клуб Монако, будут допущены
только те автомобили, которые выступали на Ралли Монте-Кар-
ло в период с 1911 по 1980 гг. Старт ралли (уже 23-го по счету) будет дан:
29 января — для участников, начинающих гонку из Афин и Глазго; 31
января — для стартующих из Бад-Хомбурга, Милан, Барселоны, Рейм-
са и Монте-Карло. Команды прибудут в город Бюи-ле-Баронь, откуда и
начнется гонка, которая через несколько дней финиширует в Монако.
Гала-вечер и награждение победителей состоятся 5 февраля в зале
Salle des Etoiles Спортинга.

The Grand Ball of Princes and Princesses

he Grand Ball of Princes and Princesses that traditionally takes
place on February, 14, on Saint Valentine’s evening, invites
guests to the Salle Empire of Hôtel de Paris. The main aim of
this extremely elegant event held under the High Patronage of H.S.H.
Prince Albert II is to create the atmosphere of a real fairytale where
the guests can forget for a short while all their everyday problems
and plunge themselves into magic dreams and fantasies. During the
Grand Ball everyone will be able to enjoy its unique atmosphere as
well as gourmet dinners and amazing performances. The Grand Ball
of Princes and Princesses is also a charity event that raises funds for
the benefit of the Princess Grace Foundation.
