Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv today is a classical research university , a leading modern research and educational center of Ukraine . The University trains specialists at the educational and qualification levels of " Junior Specialist ", " Bachelor ", " Master " and highly qualified personnel in graduate and doctoral studies . Training and retraining of specialists is carried out in 14 specialties of EQL " Junior Specialist ", in 79 specialties of OS " Bachelor " and 73 specialties of OS " Master ". They are mastered by 26 thousand students . 1645 postgraduate students and 125 doctoral students obtain higher qualifications at the university .
LIBRARY OF THE TU GRAZ : There are 17 lending departments and 15 reading rooms for 1921 user ( together with the faculty libraries and the character literature rooms ) The Library Structure has 22 departments and 24 sectors . The Library provides the educational process with textbooks , scientific literature and fiction . It also ensures the research activities and culturaleducational work of the University , realizes differentiated services for all academical staff both as various categories of readers and spheres of knowledge and types of literature .
The Library carries out a practical assistance to professorial-teaching staff of University at preparing highly skilled specialists of various types for further development of state economy , science , and culture , for training administrative personnel of different levels . Every year The Library serves over 27 thousand readers , 20 thousand students among them , and all the divisions over 70 thousand readers . The Library also has an Interlibrary Loan Department . Every year the Library carries out about 50 thousand references .

Study for international students International students , who are going to get the higher education in Ukraine , are offered a variety of educational programs for Bachelor , Master and Philosophy Doctor educational levels . Students can also study Ukrainian , English or Russian at the Preparatory Department as their pre-university training .
SPORTS : Students choose a sport at will and personally enroll in the teacher of the department in the section . Students who have no contraindications for health are enrolled in the sports section . The history of the Department of Physical Education and Sports is rich in sports achievements . For more than 70 years the teachers and trainers of the department have prepared champions and prizewinners of the Olympic Games , World Championships , European , World Universiades , Ukraine , other international tournaments from among the students of the university .
