ANNOUNCEMENTS
Caring Company Partnership Expo
HHYC has built up a long tradition of giving back to the
local community and helping out local charities and is
constantly striving to further extend its reach in this respect.
To help more social organisations know about HHYC sailing
facilities—which are open for free to less-advantaged families
in Hong Kong—Rex (CHENG Kwok Tim) and Bosun (YAU
Wai Shing) from HHYC’s sailing department attended the
Caring Company Partnership Expo.
Topics covered at the expo, held on 25 March 2015, included:
• Sustaining manpower sources: trends and strategies
• Developing talents of non-engaged youth through
mentorships and apprenticeships
• Achieving business goals by promoting social inclusion
for ethnic minorities
• Enhancing the employability of low-income groups and
new arrivals to Hong Kong
The event saw over 90 exhibition booths run by social
service organisations to introduce their services and help
facilitate future partnerships with private enterprises.
Organisations exhibiting came from numerous sectors
including Rehabilitation Services, Integrated Services (aka
family resources, support and counselling services), Elderly
Services, Family and Community Services, Children and
Youth Services, Social Enterprises and Sustainability.
The overall mission of the Caring Company Scheme is
to build a more cohesive society by promoting strategic
partnerships [[ۙ
