In September, Meadow Creek had a bus evacuation
drill. It was an exciting day for everyone, but
prekindergarten especially rose to the occasion
by meeting CHAMPS expectations and following
directions. They will be ready to ride the bus for
their field trip!
Bedford Junior High Staff celebrated College Colors Day by wearing their
favorite college t-shirts. Each year, BJH students are encouraged to attend
the HEB ISD College Fair to learn about all the post-secondary opportunities
available to them in the future.
On September 30, students from L.D. Bell and Trinity high schools participated in the Chinese Calligraphy Competition hosted by
UT Dallas. These Chinese 3 and Chinese 4 students completed cultural research, wrote an essay, and practiced Chinese art; some
of the students carved their own name seals from stone.
We had a great opening ceremony to the Bell/Trinity Pink Out Volleyball Match, where we honored several men and women who are fighting
or have fought many different types of cancers. The proceeds of our fundraising will go to several Bell staff members: Jackie Vernon, Cathy
Kahlig, Amy Keller, and Tara Hernandez. It was a touching tribute to many and another fine example of how were are better together!
