2016 Texas Honor
Roll Schools
HEB ISD is proud to announce three campuses that have been named
to the 2016 Texas Honor Roll, presented by Educational Results
Partnership and the Institute for Productivity in Education. These Honor
Roll schools will receive recognition in the press as leaders in student
achievement and will be provided a complimentary banner to display on
campus. Congratulations to these schools:
Bedford Junior High
Harwood Junior High
L.D. Bell High School
The 2016 Honor Roll recognizes public elementary, middle, and high
schools that demonstrate consistently high levels of student academic
achievement, improvement in achievement over time, and reduction
in achievement gaps. For high schools, Honor Roll recognition also
considers college readiness factors. Out of more than 8,300 Texas public
schools, less than 9% were recognized on this 2016 Texas Honor Roll.
