Strong Community Partnerships
Another way HEB ISD is Different by Design
HEB ISD continues to build community partnerships that benefit students and families .
The district has a strong tradition of community adopters -- businesses , churches , and organizations that are committed to supporting individual schools or the entire district . In 2015-2016 , we are proud to have more than 250 organizations committed to support individual schools and an incredible 50 organizations extending their support district-wide .
6 Stones Young Entrepreneurs Academy
6 Stones began in 2009 and has grown into a coalition of more than 40 independent area churches . The resources raised by 6 Stones through events like Run For Hope , Black & Blue Showdown and Operation Back 2 School are used to lift up struggling student populations on an awe-inspiring scale .
The Young Entrepreneurs Academy is a program presented jointly by the H-E-B Chamber of Commerce and the school district offering junior high and high school students opportunities to explore entrepreneurship with hands-on experience with area executives .
Bell Helicopter and BLADE
Bell Helicopter and the BLADE employee organization volunteer throughout the school year at Bellaire Elementary , actively working to meet the needs of the students , and even presented the campus with a $ 10,000 donation this year in recognition of their employee ’ s ongoing and heartfelt support for the school !
Day Care Community Partnership
Our Day Care Community Partnership is in its ninth year of providing professional development for daycare workers to help enhance the quality of local Pre-K programs , positively impacting the lives of our students before they even walk through our doors .

Volunteers by the Thousands : Each year , background-checked volunteers log hundreds of thousands of volunteer hours . These community members are taking care of support tasks so teachers can focus on teaching , organizing booster clubs so student activities can run smoothly , and showing our students that there is an entire community cheering for their success .
