L.D. Bell High School
Students at L.D. Bell High School have a vast array of opportunities to find
their place to shine. Across academics, athletics, arts and activities, the
school offers more than 70 student clubs and teams. From Mock Trial to
Mu Alpha Theta, from One Act Play to Yearbook, and from Band to
Baseball, these groups represent our exceptional student body.
Student Council (STUCO) and class councils are leadership groups
that serve the school throughout the year. In the fall, STUCO works
with other schools to perform gift exchanges before football games
and sponsor homecoming workday and the homecoming parade.
STUCO entertains students and staff with “Minute to Win It” activities
at each pep rally. During Bell-Trinity week, they sponsor the blue
side of 6 Stones Black and Blue Food Drive, collecting thousands
of cans each year. They continue the giving spirit into December,
when STUCO helps the Craft Fair collect thousands of food items for
Christmas Providers and helps crafters move in and out of their fair
booths. STUCO also runs our weekly recycling program.
