What makes you so passionate about
HEB ISD?
I have lived in Bedford for over 20 years. I believe
in volunteering and participating in my community. I
have served on Boards and Commissions with the
City of Bedford, been an active member in the HEB
Chamber of Commerce, I graduated from and now
chair Leadership HEB. This community is so tightly
knit together it is impossible to not tie that in and
love our school district. I graduated from the HEB
ISD Ambassador Academy and Board Leadership
Academy in 2017. It was a natural step to learning
more about HEB ISD and I just had to jump on board
- literally the Board! I get to be a part of a team
making a difference and that’s pretty awesome!
