Rochelle Ross,
Board Member
Who was your role model that
you looked up to as a kid?
I had some great teachers, 4-H leaders,
and Girl Scout leaders that taught me to
do things to the best of my ability. I also
learned the importance of volunteering
and giving back to the community.
What is your favorite city that
you have ever visited and why?
Rome, Italy. As a Catholic is was
amazing to see St. Peter’s Basilica, St.
Peter’s Square, the art, the churches,
ancient sites and I had an audience
with Pope John Paul II.
What schools did you attend?
I grew up in Walsenburg, a very small town in
southern Colorado. I attended Fairview High School
in Boulder, CO, my junior and senior years and
graduated in 1985.
I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington
with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts.
What is one quote or saying that you
love, that keeps you going in life?
Laughter is timeless. Imagination has no age. And
dreams are forever. - Walt Disney
What would be a perfect afternoon for
you?
Sitting in Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World
listening to the sounds of nature and music.

What’s something that amazes you?
My village - my circle of influence. My husband, my
kids, my friends, my clients, my peers. There is joy
in my village every day!
Give us a brief bio of your career.
I worked in corporate America for nearly 25 years in
administrative and project management positions.
I worked for an insurance company, homebuilders,
apartment builders, and emergency physicians.
Seven years ago, my husband and I took a leap of
faith and started my own professional organizing
business. It has grown and blessed my life beyond
measure. A Simplified Space is now helping many
people and families get free from clutter and
disorganization, to get free in their lives.
