Buinger Career and Technical Academy students from Michael Skrzynski’s Aerospace
classes built and launched rockets.

Teachers at Shady Brook Elementary are hosting an ongoing Parent University throughout the school year. Parents have really
enjoyed the information and knowledge they have gained. This opportunity has also helped parents feel more prepared and
confident when helping their student with homework.
The HEB ISD Counseling and Guidance department
held their annual college fair in September at the Hurst
Conference Center. More than 1,000 attendees visited with
representatives from 103 colleges and universities.

KEYS High School donated more than 1,000 items to this year’s Black
and Blue Food Drive, continuing a truly impressive tradition.
