Extends Gratitude to Euless PD
Oakwood Terrace Elementary is a school that loves
their community and embraces the opportunity to
serve those in it. They recently experienced giving
back in a whole new way. On March 1, Euless Police
Officer David Hofer lost his life in the line of duty.
On that day, just like every other day, Officer Hofer
and his fellow Euless Police Officers were focused
on their mission to protect the entire community,
including Oakwood Terrace Elementary.

As a school community, the children and adults of
Oakwood Terrace turned a difficult situation into
an opportunity to bond and express gratitude to
the people who keep us safe. Staff at Oakwood
Terrace led a school-wide project to create cards
and letters thanking the Euless Police Department
for all they do. In all, more than 700 cards were
presented to the Police Department.
