In the week 20 th – 24 th June , the Heat Exchanger World team explored the halls of Wire & Tube Dusseldorf , eager to connect with new and existing customers at one of Europe ’ s biggest trade fairs . The atmosphere was lively and full of opportunity as 1,822 exhibitors from over 50 countries came to present new technologies across the 13 expo halls .

Halls 3 to 6 were dedicated primarily to those working in the tube supply chain , with over 40,000 square metres of net exhibition space . A total of 765 exhibitors from 44 countries showcased the breadth of tube manufacturing , trading , technologies , machinery , and applications . Companies such as Salzgitter Group and thyssenkrupp were among those who demonstrated the importance of individual , highly specialised requirements for tubes in industries as diverse as oil and gas , wastewater , food and chemicals .
Future solutions For many exhibitors , the focus was on the current transition to greener energy in which their products would be applied , but also exploring greener production opportunities for their own processes . Hall 3 hosted the Wire and Tube Expert Meeting held over two days . The platform enabled companies to showcase their roadmaps for Green Transformation , reporting exciting new processes and future solutions . The question on many visitors ’ minds was “ How are you going to contribute to a greener future ?”, and almost every exhibitor had their answer readily prepared . With product solutions for new energy alternatives such as hydrogen or decarbonisation methods , and many exciting research and development programs in place , it ’ s clear to see that , as far as this industry is concerned , the long-awaited green transition is well underway . Salzgitter placed the focus on its product Mannesmann for Tube 2022 . “ Mannesmann is synonymous worldwide with steel tubes of the highest quality ,” said Frank Seinsche , Head of Corporate Design & Events Group Communications at Salzgitter AG and responsible for trade fair appearances . “ In addition to presenting our products , Tube 2022 is a perfect communication platform for us to liaise with customers and partners ,”
