In August , the Heat Exchanger World team visited ACHEMA in Frankfurt , the event ’ s first edition after a four-year break . A full week of interesting conversations gave us an insight to current market activity and exciting future trends .
ACHEMA has reported over 2,200 exhibitors from over 50 countries at the 2022 show . Well known to be an international show , the organisers have stated its foreign exhibitors made up 52 % of the total with great representation from Italy ( 179 ), India ( 143 ) and even China ( 74 ), despite complicated travel restrictions . More than 70,000 attendees walked the halls of Frankfurt Messe , again almost half of them coming from outside Germany .
Key heat exchanger topics Our team enjoyed a busy week walking the extensive expo floor and catching up with many members of our Heat Exchanger World community . We asked some of them about the major topics which cropped up during their talks at the ACHEMA event . “ Meeting people at the show and talking about their requirements confirmed a trend in the market that we at heat11 generally have observed since the beginning of the year ,” says Bastian Knop , Project Manager for heat11 . “ Companies are investigating about electrical heating equipment capabilities to substitute fossil fuels , especially gas for their specific industrial heat processes .”
Sales Manager for Klaren International , Amol Palve , says “ ACHEMA is a good exhibition for anyone working in the chemical and mechanical industry . There is always something new to learn and discuss . In particular , I was delighted with the many discussions on heat exchanger fouling and solutions in the various sectors , such as energy , chemicals , water , textile , and food .”
VAU Thermotech ’ s CEO Mr Osama Nasser shared : “ Since 1982 I have never missed an ACHEMA as an exhibitor . This year it exceeded expectations . Young engineers visited our booth and I was impressed by their high-level expertise . Participating in a tradeshow is an expensive event , but the inquiries we got were for specific projects . High quality products and short delivery times make a strong basis for business .”
