It is my great honor and distinct privilege, as the chairman of the Heat Exchanger World Americas Conference and Expo 2026, to welcome you to this year’ s event.
The US Gulf Coast – from Corpus Christi Texas to Mobile Alabama – provides the nation, and the world, with the energy, chemicals and products needed to drive the economic engine we call Capitalism that has, and will continue to make, our lives better and more productive. Thus, is it fitting we are holding this year’ s conference here in Baytown, Texas, right in the heart of the Gulf Coast. The US Gulf Coast continues to support traditional markets such oil & gas, chemicals and power, but is now a major contributor to data centers and the AI revolution that is in its early stages. It is truly an exciting time to be a part of the heat exchanger community.
This is the only conference in North America focused on the design and servicing of heat exchangers. It provides a unique opportunity for individuals, from service providers & suppliers to OEM’ s and end users, to interact and share their knowledge and expertise on current issues as well as learn about new and emerging technologies, products and services. The conference will include several presentations and panel discussions on a wide range of topics germane to today’ s heat exchanger industry. It will also showcase the many companies that make up our heat exchanger ecosystem from technology, material, tooling and service suppliers to OEM’ s. I encourage you to take the time to visit each and every one of them because without their support, this conference would not be possible.

The rapidly expanding AI and data center are driving demand for Liquid Cooling, innovative materials addressing the challenges of extreme temperatures to withstand thermal stress, corrosion, and fouling. Digitalization and strong push toward AI-driven“ Predictive Maintenance” and monitoring software are being developed. The industry leaders stress moving away from“ run-to-failure” models and towards proactive, automated lifecycle maintenance. These are exciting times indeed.
Market Outlook is very promising, the global heat exchanger market is expanding rapidly as industries prioritize sustainable operations, driven by expansion in Petro- Chemical, Oil & Gas and LNG.
