Ohmium International ( Newark , Calif .), a green hydrogen company that designs , manufactures , and deploys advanced Proton Exchange Membrane ( PEM ) electrolyzers , has announced a strategic partnership with Ten08 Energy ( Houston ) related to clean ammonia production . This collaboration will see Ohmium ’ s PEM electrolyzer solutions supply green hydrogen for Ten08 Energy ’ s groundbreaking 500MW clean ammonia project in Texas . Situated on the Gulf Coast , this ambitious project aims to produce 1.4 million metric tons of clean ammonia annually , using a combination of blue ammonia , produced from natural gas and carbon capture , and
green ammonia , generated from renewable energy . The initiative represents a significant step towards decarbonizing the ammonia industry , providing a sustainable and cost-effective solution to meet the growing demand for cleaner energy sources . The multi-year project will commence with an initial 200MW capacity , expanding to 500MW . The large-scale production of blue ammonia will help drive economies of scale , reducing costs and enhancing the viability of green ammonia . OQ celebrates groundbreaking of strategic fuel reserve project
OQ , the global energy group , has begun construction on a
strategic fuel reserve in Dhofar Governorate , Oman , with an
investment of over 47 million Omani Riyals ( USD 124 million ). The project , under the patronage of His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki Al Said , aims to enhance Dhofar ’ s fuel supply and ensure readiness for emergencies by storing petroleum derivatives such as MOGAS-91 , MOGAS-95 , Gas Oil , and jet fuel . The facility will have a storage capacity of over 110,000 cubic meters , ensuring a 30-day fuel supply for the region . This initiative aligns with OQ ’ s broader strategy to meet growing national fuel demands , driven by
population and economic growth . His Excellency Eng . Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi , Minister of Energy and Minerals , highlighted its importance in securing Oman ’ s fuel reserves . OQ CEO Ashraf Hamed Al Mamari emphasized that this project is part of OQ ’ s significant investments in Dhofar , alongside existing LPG , ammonia , and methanol plants . The facility , set on 150,000 square meters , will take 36 months to complete and will include tanks , a warehouse , a control room , and other essential infrastructure . It is also part of a broader national effort to expand fuel storage across Oman .
