Alleima is marking five years since the launch of Sanicro ® 35, a high-performance alloy known for its superior corrosion resistance. Introduced at the 2020 AMPP Conference, Sanicro ® 35 quickly proved its value in the oil and gas industry, starting with installation in a Gulf Coast refinery’ s crude unit overhead. It has since gained traction across sectors like chemical processing, fertilizer production, and renewable fuels. The alloy offers a cost-effective alternative to nickel-based materials, with strong resistance to harsh environments including |
seawater, ammonium chloride salts, and sour gas. It’ s ideal for heat exchangers and process piping, offering high strength, weldability, and machinability. A major milestone includes a large order for seven air coolers at a Gulf Coast refinery— marking the alloy’ s first global reference in air cooler applications. Brask Inc., an early fabricator of the alloy, praised Alleima’ s technical support and timely delivery. Alleima continues to promote Sanicro ® 35 for advanced industrial use and performance efficiency worldwide. |
