Carrier updates AquaSnap 30MP water-cooled scroll chiller
CETY signs MoU with International Private Equity Fund
Clean Energy Technologies , Inc . ( CETY ), a clean energy manufacturing and services company , offering eco-friendly green energy solutions , clean energy fuels , and alternative electric power for small and mid-sized projects in North America , Europe , and Asia announces that it has signed an Memorandum of Understanding with Asia Management Energy Capital Partners Pte . Ltd . ( AMEC ), an international private equity fund specializing in areas of alternative and renewable energy and climate technologies . AMEC agrees , subject to final approval , to facilitate financing and investment into CETY as its growth capital to develop the waste
to energy project in Vermont under Vermont Renewable Gas ( VRG ), as well as provide growth capital to expand into California and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations ( ASEAN ) clean energy markets . AMEC is working with its strategic investment partners in the U . S . to complete the due diligence process and ascertaining the investment terms for up to USD 12,000,000.00 in tranche funding for VRG . As part of the investment condition , CETY will be required to bring its technology , engineering , procurement , and construction expertise into the ASEAN markets with the AMEC as its strategy and capital partner .
Carrier is updating one of its most compact , indoor chillers — the AquaSnap ® 30MP watercooled scroll chiller — to be more environmentally responsible and user friendly . The AquaSnap 30MP will now come with refrigerant R-32 , which was chosen for its lower environmentally balanced impact , high energy efficiency , wide availability , and ease of use . In addition to a new refrigerant , the chiller has also been modernized with new PIC6 intelligent controls that provide an advanced , 4-inch graphic display with BACnet™ MS / TP or IP . The 30MP indoor chiller comes in condenserless and water-cooled versions . Its compact modular design makes it ideal for easy replacement , retrofit , or new construction applications , with the
ability to pipe together up to eight chillers for an increased capacity of up to 640 tons ( 2,250 kW ). Carrier is committed to providing our planet and people a better future by offering the best refrigerant for each application , and is shifting to lower GWP refrigerants across its chiller offerings , with R-513A , R-515B , and R-1234ze ( E ) in medium-pressure centrifugal and screw chillers ; R-1233zd ( E ) in lowpressure centrifugal chillers ; and R-32 in scroll chillers . The use of lower GWP refrigerants supports Carrier ’ s 2030 Environmental , Social & Governance ( ESG ) Goals , including helping customers avoid more than 1 gigaton of greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 . The chiller is manufactured at Carrier ’ s commercial HVAC factory in Charlotte , North Carolina .
Kaltra deploys aluminum alloy for microchannel heat exchangers
Kaltra completed the pilot study for a new , highly corrosion-resistant aluminum alloy , AA3F05 , temper H112 , to be used in its microchannel heat exchangers . SWAAT ( Sea Water Acetic Acid Test as per ASTM G85 Annex A3 ) tests performed during the deployment phase demonstrated that AA3F05 ’ s lifespan is more than double that of the currently used HA9153 alloy .
Manganese-riched AA3F05 with a protective zinc top layer ensures up to 6000 hours of exposure to synthetic sea salt and humidity at high temperatures , making possible long service life for heat exchangers in the harshest air conditions . Alloy AA3F05 is available for multiport tubes with widths from 12 to 36mm and pressure rates of 32 and 45 bar , covering the full range of coil nomenclature and suitable refrigerants .
TIGI enhances global reach in the renewable heat sector
TIGI , an Israeli renewable heat technology company , has successfully consolidated its position in the global renewable energy market through the acquisition of SOLID , a leader in solar-thermal systems . The recent approval of TIGI ’ s restructuring of SOLID by an Austrian court marks a significant milestone , as TIGI now owns 90 % of SOLID . This move aligns both companies ’ expertise and resources , enhancing their capacity to deliver renewable heat solutions worldwide . The partnership is poised to leverage TIGI ’ s innovative solar collector technology and SOLID ’ s extensive experience in executing large-scale projects globally . Together , they aim to tap into a broader client base across various sectors , including industrial and commercial markets . In 2023 , the collaboration kicked off with a project in California , where they developed a large-scale renewable heat system for an industrial plant , offering heat-as-a-service which reduces costs and emissions by minimizing natural gas usage . This acquisition comes at a time when the energy sector is rapidly moving away from fossil fuels , driven by increased climate awareness and recent geopolitical events . By merging their technologies and expertise , TIGI and SOLID are well-equipped to address the growing demand for renewable heating solutions , positioning themselves as key players in the evolving energy landscape .
