It is an honour to serve as Chairwoman of the Heat Exchanger World – Conference & Expo Europe 2026. Heat exchangers are vital across many industries yet often receive less attention than they deserve. Heat exchangers, which typically sit at the interface between process and utilities, face numerous design, operational, and maintenance challenges. HX World conference is the only conference which is dedicated to this important piece of equipment cutting across various industries. This conference not only provides a platform for technical experts and industry professionals to share presentations and innovations but also features an exhibition showcasing the latest products and advancements in heat exchanger design, materials, coatings, testing, inspection, and cleaning. This platform provides an excellent opportunity to exchange ideas, share insights, discuss challenges and connect with leading professionals in the industry. As the world is moving towards digitalization, energy transition and net zero emissions, this conference will also cover topics on optimizing process efficiencies through digital twin / AI, decarbonization strategies etc. The conference includes expert panel discussion and sessions with technical workshops to highlight the most relevant topics in heat exchanger Industry. It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Heat Exchanger World Europe Conference, this time as Vice Chairman. Having participated in the previous edition, I can confidently say that this year’ s program promises to be just as exciting, insightful, and diverse— with topics that reflect the dynamic evolution of our industry. Heat exchangers remain indispensable across sectors such as petrochemicals, refining, and oil & gas. No process can function without them. After more than 24 years working in heat exchanger technology, I continue to be amazed by the pace of innovation. New designs, materials, and applications are constantly emerging— proving that there is still much to explore and many challenges to solve. Today, the energy transition and the push for lower carbon footprints are driving the need for greater efficiency in industrial processes. Technologies like artificial intelligence are opening revolutionary pathways for designing and monitoring heat exchangers. The innovations in our field are abundant— and often, it seems that imagination is the only limit. This conference brings together leading experts in heat transfer, fabricators, and— importantly— end-users. It’ s a unique opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, not only through the presentations but also during networking moments over coffee and lunch.
