HRS awarded EcoVadis sustainability accreditation
HRS Heat Exchangers has earned an EcoVadis Bronze medal for sustainability following its first audit this summer . EcoVadis , a global leader in sustainability ratings , works with 130,000 companies across 180 + countries . The Bronze medal places HRS in the top 35 % of companies evaluated for sustainability .
The EcoVadis assessment examines environmental impact , carbon footprint , ethics , labor rights , and sustainable procurement , highlighting strengths and areas for improvement . This supports continuous enhancement of practices . Matt Hale , HRS Global Key Account Director , who led the effort , stated , “ Achieving a Bronze medal so quickly is a fantastic accomplishment and provides a strong foundation for future progress . Alleima acquires Endox a specialized manufacturer of medical components
Teadit expands operations with new Itatiba facility
Alleima is acquiring Endox , a manufacturer of nitinol and stainless-steel medical components for urology , gastroenterology , and endoscopy , to enhance its medical segment offerings . Endox produces guidewires , polypectomy snares , and stone retrieval baskets and will be integrated into Alleima ’ s Kanthal division . This acquisition supports Alleima ’ s strategy for growth and resilience , expanding its presence in the stable and profitable medical sector . Göran Björkman , President and CEO of Alleima , welcomed the move , highlighting its potential to strengthen their premium position .
Endox ’ s capabilities , certifications , and customer base will enable forward-integration , drive new product development , and support geographic sales expansion . Robert Stål , President of Kanthal , emphasized the acquisition ’ s role in enhancing wire-based catheter applications and adding value for customers . Founded in 2001 , Endox employs 90 people across Germany and Poland , with 2023 revenues of SEK 65 million . The deal is expected to close in Q1 2025 , pending customary approvals , and will slightly improve Alleima ’ s earnings per share .
