Full steam ahead !
Editorial
As we kick off this first issue of the year , I would like to welcome you all back after a festive break . As the holiday cheer seems like a distant memory , and we struggle to remain loyal to our new year resolutions , one thing that never fails to fuel us is all the possibilities lying ahead for Heat Exchanger World brand . Our team is still riding the high of our European Conference & Expo from last year and we ’ re already channeling it into our next year ’ s event . Having met so many of you and gaining first-hand insights on the heat transfer industry , we ’ re inspired to make the 3 rd edition of Heat Exchanger World Europe Conference & Expo bigger and better . Stay tuned for more details coming very soon .
This issue ’ s spotlight is on Aeishwarya Chaudhari , Mechanical Engineering Lead at Vulcan Energy and former Chairwoman of our own Heat Exchanger World Europe Conference 2024 . With a vast experience in heat transfer industry , she combines technical expertise with a passion for mentoring the next generation of engineers , advancing both technology and talent in the industry . I had an opportunity to sit down with Aeishwarya and learn more about her work with geothermal lithium production , the critical role of heat exchangers , and the exciting opportunities for innovation in green energy solutions . More on that on page 8 .
For even more end user insights , turn to page 16 , where engineers from PETRONAS examine the challenges and lessons from using special enclosure high-pressure heat exchangers with a focus on Southeast Asia refineries .
If you weren ’ t at Heat Exchanger World Europe Conference in November , this issue offers you a taste of what you missed . Elliott Tool Technologies present their research on how parallel pin tube expansion may reduce corrosion risk in heat exchangers on page 28 .
Finally , to stay in touch with the key players in our industry , turn to page 20 for an interview with Jeroen van Ruitenbeek , the newly appointed Managing Director at KAPP . Jeroen has become a household name over 20 yeas of working in heat transfer . I sat down with Jeroen to learn about this exciting new transition and his plans for the company and its reliable partners .
Thank you all for tuning in again and enjoy our first issue of 2025 !
