We ’ ll maintain this approach while modernizing certain processes , like sales and document management , to streamline operations . My aim is to ensure that while we evolve , we don ’ t lose the essence of what makes Kapp successful .
How do you see the management transition at Kapp ? It ’ s definitely an evolution . Kapp has grown steadily under the previous leadership , and I want to build on that foundation . The company is doing well , and there ’ s no need to overhaul what ’ s already successful . However , I see opportunities for modernization and expansion . We ’ ve already begun updating our internal processes , and I plan to continue focusing on becoming more customercentric . Additionally , I ’ d like to explore expanding our product range to meet new market demands . For instance , as industries adopt greener technologies , there ’ s a growing need for innovative heat transfer solutions . By staying agile and responsive , we can position Kapp as a leader in these emerging markets .
What challenges have shaped your career ? Reflecting on 20 years in this industry , one of the most significant lessons has been understanding the importance of adding value . At Kapp , we often engage with clients who may not have specialized knowledge in heat transfer . Our role is to guide them , combining our technical expertise with an understanding of their unique needs . This is where I see Kapp ’ s strength — bridging the gap between technical complexity and practical solutions . A standout challenge was working with clients on firsttime projects , like hydrogen plants , where they ’ re unsure of the optimal equipment . These projects require extensive collaboration and upfront investment , often with uncertain outcomes . But it ’ s the only way to introduce innovative solutions . Despite the risks , these challenges are rewarding and align perfectly with my passion for problem-solving .
What ’ s your vision for Kapp and yourself in the coming years ? I see Kapp continuing its steady growth trajectory , potentially expanding our team to around 20 people .
Geographically , while the Benelux region remains our core market , we ’ ll explore opportunities in Germany and other strategic areas . I also envision deepening our expertise in emerging energy solutions , such as hydrogen and carbon capture , as they become increasingly vital in the global shift toward sustainability . Personally , I ’ m committed to this role and to Kapp ’ s future . My focus will remain on fostering strong relationships with our partners and customers while ensuring that we remain at the forefront of innovation .
What can Kapp ’ s industry partners expect from your leadership ? Consistency and reliability will remain at the heart of our approach . Our partners can count on us to bring them business and market insights . At the same time , customers can expect us to continue offering solutions tailored to their specific needs . Our goal is to strengthen these relationships while exploring opportunities for growth and innovation .
