Precision Equipments open house : Developing a vision for a carbon neutral future

Precision Equipments ( PECPL – Precision Equipments ( Chennai ) Private Ltd .) located in Chennai , India arranged an open house event recently in Chennai to exchange ideas , experience and discuss about potential to improve sustainability of heat exchanger applications in the process industry and in renewable energy processes . More than 100 experts from different market fields joined for 2 days , packed with technical sessions and discussions about heat exchanger applications , latest material developments , NDT and much more . A very interesting panel discussion on sustainability topped the event .
Many thanks to Chairman K . Balasubramanian as well as Managing Director P . Easwaramurthy for their invitation and to Mr . Prabhu , the upcoming leader with great vision and foresight for organising this event . It was impressive to see the efforts of PECPL and the event co-sponsors , Alleima India Pvt Ltd , ( formerly Sandvik ) Chicago Power & Process Inc ., Gesmex Inc ., and Cutech . The event had major representation from power and process industries representing the entire cross section – EPCs , process technology licensors and end-users .
The event was supported and attended by many companies working towards increasing
sustainability in heat exchanger applications for both energy efficiency as well as renewable energy applications . The list included , among many others , Babcock Power , APAC Pvt Ltd ., Larsen & Toubro Ltd , Linde Inc ., Air Products Inc , PTC Technology Equipment Pvt Ltd , Technicas Reunidas India Pvt Ltd , and Technip Energies India Ltd .
From the word go , the event went through a series of presentations that highlighted how properly designed heat exchangers can help reach the goals of carbon neutrality . Currently , Precision is focused on offering high performance heat exchangers , plateand-shell heat exchangers , LNG vaporisers , heat exchangers for bio-fuel applications and geo-thermal applications that have potential to accelerate our progress towards carbon neutrality .
The final session , a panel discussion on “ Achieving Net Zero ,” highlighted the global need to look for innovative solutions in heat exchanger technology and Precision ’ s current efforts are well-aligned with this goal .
The open house made an important impact in the process engineering world , supporting Precision ’ s declarations of being a reliable and conscientious supplier , but also highlighting the willingness of the heat exchanger industry to work together towards a better future .
