Heat Exchanger World Americas 2022 : A Resounding Success !

The third annual Heat Exchanger World Americas Expo and Conference took place on November 16 th -17 th , 2022 at the Pasadena Convention
Center in Pasadena , TX . The event provided a platform for professionals in a variety of aspects of heat transfer to connect with peers and share their industry expertise .
The dynamic and interactive event gave attendees the opportunity to network with the leading minds who continuously drive ahead innovation and excellence in the fields of heat exchanger and heat transfer equipment use , maintenance , manufacturing and repair . Featuring an exhibition and a technical conference , the event had something to offer for everyone , including manufacturers , fabricators , service providers , EPCs , and end users . “ Heat Exchanger World Americas 2022 raised an already high bar . We noted better attendance from plant personnel and contractors in addition to already good participation from fabricators ,” said Mike Nemeth , President , Elliott Tool Technologies Ltd . “ For anyone who was thinking of attending in 2022 but did not – I highly recommend that you do not miss next year .”
Engaging exhibition “ What impressed me the most about Heat Exchanger World Americas 2022 was the tremendous year over year growth . This industry has clearly spoken and demands such an event . The event provides a forum for all stakeholders of heat exchangers to meet , interact and learn . I cannot wait to see what Heat Exchanger World does in 2023 ,” said Craig Sullivan , President , ADTUBI USA , Inc . To accommodate growth , the event moved to a new venue which allowed for an expanded expo floor , providing manufacturers , suppliers , and distributors with the chance to exhibit their latest products , services , and capabilities . With over 1000 attendees , the nearly 60 exhibitors were able to showcase the latest in heat transfer technology and meet with key industry professionals interested in diversifying their portfolios .
Dynamic conference The technical conference similarly gave a platform to heat exchanger experts , from various sectors , to focus on a wide range of topics related to the heat exchanger and heat transfer industries . The conference , consisted of two workshops running concurrently on a variety of topics , including tube to tubesheet joints , maintenance , antifouling & cleaning , design & materials , bolted joints , air cooled heat exchangers and new technologies . The conference kicked off with a keynote presentation by the event Chairman , Scott Hamilton , CEO and Founder of Hex Technology , followed by Tim Goedeker of TRICORD Consulting who discussed Industrial Revolution 2.0 - Renewable Energy & ESG and TEMA Technical Committee members Sangeeta Bakshi of Brask and Wade Armer of Ohmstede provided an overview of the TEMA Standard . “ Heat Exchanger World Americas 2022 Conference and Expo was an amazing event and a great success for the heat transfer community . I really enjoyed walking in the Expo to explore new technologies , having discussions with vendors and end users to find solutions for current heat transfer problems in EPC projects ,” said event Vice Chair Naomi Jabbari , Heat Transfer Engineer for S & B Engineers & Constructors . “ I was impressed by conference presentations that showed that the heat transfer community is ready to support energy transition in the decades ahead to satisfy the growing demand on the clean energy market to reduce the risks and costs of environmental pollution and climate change .” The morning session was an interactive and engaging panel of industry experts to discuss The Good , Bad & Ugly of : TEMA , API 660 & 661 , PCC-1 , and End User Specs . The panel discussion between experienced engineers and attendees provided a great opportunity to gain experience and solve major heat transfer problems which are not covered in commercial standards and provided a great platform for members of the audience to ask their questions , receive feedback and even initiate debate within the community .
