Advanced Cooling Technologies, Inc.( ACT), a provider of thermal management solutions, announces a significant milestone in its global expansion. The company’ s Heat Sink Cooler( HSC) and Heat Pipe Cooler( HPC) product lines have received CE Marking, demonstrating compliance with the European Union’ s Low Voltage Directive. This achievement allows ACT to offer its reliable cooling solutions to a wider audience and cater to the growing demand for efficient thermal management in the European market. |
ACT’ s Sealed Enclosure Cooling solutions provide fully sealed thermal protection for power electronics inside enclosures. This marking encompasses two distinct technologies: Heat Sink Coolers( HSCs) and Heat Pipe Coolers( HPCs): These sealed cooling solutions offer efficient heat transfer through optimized air circulation( HSCs) or advanced evaporative cooling( HPCs). HSCs utilize an internal heat sink to collect excess heat and transfer it to a mounting plate for dissipation via an external fan. This above-ambient |
heat exchange system eliminates the need for air chilling indoors while providing reliable cooling outdoors. HPCs, on the other hand, employ heat pipe technology that conducts heat exceptionally well, making them ideal for applications with limited enclosure mounting surface area. Both options are effective in both indoor and outdoor environments. The CE marking process involved rigorous testing to ensure compliance with EU safety and environmental standards, reinforcing ACT’ s commitment to |
delivering high-quality thermal management solutions to its international customers. |
LU-VE Group is a leading international company specialized in heat exchangers, cooling systems, and components for refrigeration, air conditioning, and industrial processes. LU-VE Group cooling technology is one of the enabling factors for the outstanding growth of data centers in the US and worldwide. LU-VE US, Inc. production site in Jacksonville, Texas is currently being expanded with the aim to start local production of the largest LU-VE Group range of Dry and Adiabatic Coolers. As Jody Stonecipher, Head of Sales LU-VE US Inc. points out:“ This expansion not only provides first class technology but also provides the capacity to support the exponential growth from immersion cooling, direct to chip, AI, machine learning and other data center growth drivers.” LU-VE Group’ s range of adiabatic coolers, including spray counterflow |
systems, PAD systems, and Hybrid Spray Systems, dramatically reduces water consumption using water recirculation systems and electronically commutated fans, while providing very high cooling performance. LU-VE Group validates its design and continues its development by extensive testing in its labs( one of the largest in Europe), using one of the largest climatic chambers worldwide. This is how Whisperer Plus ® was developed: the 2nd gen silencer for LU-VE dry coolers, offering up to-6dB( A) sound level reduction and up to-19 % energy consumption reduction. LU-VE US Inc. also offers comprehensive project management from planning to installation, including remote supervision during setup, dedicated commissioning teams for short deployment time, and LU-VE CARE after sales service. |
The Spanish company REOLUM, specialized in innovative energy transition solutions, has awarded a consortium formed by Técnicas Reunidas and Siemens Energy to carry out the Front-End Engineering Design( FEED) of the project as a preliminary step to its future material execution in La Robla, a Spanish municipality located in the province of León. The facility, with a production capacity of 140,000 tons per year, will combine biogenic carbon from a biomass cogeneration plant with renewable hydrogen to produce renewable methanol. The project is at the forefront of e-methanol production technologies. E-methanol is a product that will play a key role in the decarbonization of shipping in its direct use as a fuel and as a feedstock for the production of |
sustainable aviation fuel( SAF). In addition to Reolum, the project brings together the services, knowledge, and capabilities of four large companies with a strong specialization in decarbonization: Siemens Energy, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd., Johnson Matthey, and Técnicas Reunidas. According to the scope of the contract, Siemens Energy’ s work will focus on the renewable hydrogen unit, and Técnicas Reunidas’ work will focus on the biogenic carbon capture and e-methanol production units. In turn, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. will be the CO 2 capture licensor and Johnson Matthey the supplier of a proprietary technology, called eMERALD™, which makes possible the direct hydrogenation of captured
CO 2 to methanol.

Alleima, is a global manufacturer of high value-added products in advanced stainless steels and special alloys. Alleima ® 2RE10 is an austenitic stainless steel with extremely low carbon and impurity contents. It is characterized by excellent resistance to corrosion in nitric acid, strong resistance to intergranular corrosion, and good weldability. It was developed by |
Alleima to combat corrosion issues in nitric acid service. Alleima is the sole producer of the premium alloy Alleima ® 2RE10. Alternative alloys for nitric acid services face extended delivery times, whereas Alleima ® 2RE10 is offered faster and with more consistent lead times to meet customers’ maintenance schedules. |
Alleima ® 2RE10 is particularly suited to heat exchanger tubes and pipes in processes that handle nitric acid. For example, the manufacture of nitric acid, acrylic fibers and ammonium nitrate. Alleima ® 2RE10 is used in cooler condensers because it has excellent corrosion resistance and can handle the challenging conditions. This makes Alleima ® 2RE10 a reliable |
choice for cooler / condensers, as it reduces maintenance needs and improves overall performance. |
