Caring for our Communities
FCS Financial employees are dedicated to giving back to their communities and their commitment
comes in many forms! Recently, employees were given the opportunity to volunteer to participate in a
5K Run/Walk supporting FFA and 4-H. The association donated $1,000 to each organization on behalf of
those employees who completed the 5K.
As a workplace benefit, employees are allowed to use 8 working hours each year to volunteer at the
charity of their choice. Pictured from left to right: Central Office employees (from left) Debbie Austin, Kurt
Korte, Linda Predmore and Michele Rice spent their time helping at Santa’s Workshop which is a Christmas
adoption program through the Samaritan Center in Jefferson City. The Chillicothe staff (from left) Brent
Collier, Shelly Dietz, Kate Lambert, Mitzi Winder, Carrie Sampsel, Kerwin Brock and Scott Gardner split their
day by sorting food at the Linn County Food Pantry in the morning and cleaning the General Pershing VFW
in the afternoon. Central Office employee Jen Lewis lent a hand by washing dishes at the Holts Summit
Soup Kitchen. FCS Financial employees have volunteered more than 900 hours in their communities.
