Claims Reminders • • • • If you think it will be necessary to replant, please contact your agent before disturbing any previously planted insured crop. Prevent plant claims must be submitted no later than 72 hours after the final planting date or the date within the late plant period that you have decided to no longer plant. Policy provisions and approved insurance providers determine eligibility and acceptance of claim. Claim Reporting Deadline (except PP and replant): Notify the company within 72 hours of the initial discovery of damage, but no later than 15 days after the end of the insurance period. The insurance period ends at the earliest of: • Total destruction of the insured crop • Harvest of the crop • Final adjustment of a loss on a unit • Calendar date contained in the Crop Provisions (Dec. 10) • Abandonment of the crop on the unit • As otherwise specified in the Crop Provisions Adjusters are required to work and submit a claim within 60 days of when it was submitted.
