Traditions are a part of the Sacred Heart experience , even in a pandemic ! ( above ) Students were inducted onto either the Red or White Team in classrooms this year rather than the gym .
( above ) Halloween took place at both campuses . At the preschool , students and teachers dressed up in costumes . A virtual Gaudete service and the Hot Dog Lunch ( left ) still took place before Christmas break .
Share the Heart Month
Musical
During February ’ s Share the Heart Month , students and their parents were asked to submit heart photos — found or created — for a contest .
Three winners were chosen by the Marketing and Communications staff . Two of them celebrate the February snowfall ( left and top left ) and the third winner ’ s design was made with Lego pieces .
This year ’ s Middle School musical , “ Little Women ,” was filmed instead of appearing on stage due to the pandemic . The Driehaus Center was used as the setting ; SHS will be able to view the finished film in May 2021 .
