Graduated and current cardiac fellows
The Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Program continues to be a cornerstone of our academic mission, reflecting the Heart Institute’ s standing as a top-ranked program and one of the highest-volume surgical centers in the country. Our mission is to train and cultivate compassionate, service-oriented, driven, knowledgeable, collaborative, dependable, resilient, innovative leaders in the field of pediatric cardiology. We are proud to offer a rigorous and dynamic training experience that not only prepares fellows for clinical excellence but also equips them to become future academic leaders, researchers and educators.
Each year, we receive hundreds of applications from across the country and choose five of the most exceptional candidates who demonstrate outstanding promise and passion for the field. With unparalleled opportunities— from complex inpatient care to community outreach in rural Colorado— our fellows graduate with a depth and breadth of experience that is truly unique. In 2024, we proudly welcomed a new class of fellows and celebrated the graduation of remarkable physicians who are now advancing pediatric cardiology across the country, including many who continue to train with us in advanced subspecialty fellowships.
