As we reflect on the past year, we are truly proud to share the progress and accomplishments of the Heart Institute at Children’ s Hospital Colorado.
One of our deepest held values is transparency. Families deserve nothing less when seeking care for their child. By sharing our volumes and outcomes, we empower families with the data and understanding they need to make informed decisions. This level of transparency is essential in fostering relationships built on openness, respect and confidence. That is why we are proud to be the only heart program in the region that openly shares our surgical volumes and outcomes data.
Our ability to surpass national standards in surgical outcomes is a direct result of the deep collaboration between our team of pediatric cardiologists, congenital heart surgeons, cardiac anesthesiologists, cardiac nurses and specialists. The work we do is not only focused on clinical excellence— for inpatient and outpatient care— but also on providing compassionate, family-centered care that ensures the best possible experience for each child and their loved ones.
