Autumn for the Heart Home team is a time for celebration. Not only does September mark the changing of the seasons for us, but it is also our anniversary month, as we launched our very first issue exactly two years ago. This month we also launch our first edition of Heart Home on an iPad App and we are feeling more than a little proud of ourselves. We wanted the App to bring you all of the usual features and inspirational British Homes, but we also wanted to make it more of an experience for the reader. Expect to see lots of arrows to swipe and buttons to push, and best of all, you can tap images to make them full screen. It’s available to download now on the App Store. But, we haven’t neglected our loyal readers on the magazine front either. This issue we have lots of ideas for decorating and entertaining, including a feature on getting crafty around the house using just paper, string and cloth, and mouth watering recipes that will fill your home with the smell of baking. There are tips on the current decorating trends, roundups of recent product launches and a weekend project for those of you handy with the paintbrushes. Away from home, there are suggestions for places to visit during The London Design Festival, hotels to escape to, and our travel feature this month is on the Bavarian capital, Munich. Plus of course, the usual stunning homes. ...We hope you like it.
